The Cliffs of Mother is something to do for both locals and tourists being Ireland’s most visited natural attraction with a magical vista that attracts up to 1 million visitors each year. The cliffs are located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare. For about 25€ you can get a guided tour from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher, also stopping in at a walking tour, the Aillwee Cave and the birds of prey exhibition. Often referred to as Ireland's most Irish city, Galway is a great getaway spot. Galway is a very rainy city, even by Irish standards, and water can play a major role in your visit here, whether you're dodging it from the skies, walking along the bay shore or exploring paths along the river, creeks and harbours.

1. Who are you? Tell us about who you are personally, away from your blog. I'm a 33 year old guy from Bangor in Northern Ireland. I have a passion for football, beer, people and culture. Because of that, I love to travel and try and integrate these four loves into my travels. I'm happiest when I am down the pub with my mates having a beer, watching football, visiting my family or travelling with my girlfriend. If I could split my time in life equally between those four, I'd be a happy man! Neonsplash is Europe's biggest paint party. It's a new live entertainment phenomenon that exploded onto the club scene for all those who love to get down and dirty. It started out solely in Germany but is now touring all of Europe. Almost every single one of their shows are completely sold out, so get your tickets early if you plan on going. A combination of Neon-Paint and electronic music is a sure-fire recipe for a good night. It is impossible to describe the intense feeling of experiencing a Neonsplash Paint Party, but here are some pictures and a video to help!
Dublin, what can I say? I've never been before, but always wanted to. We were visiting with a long time friend that I met in a hostel while stay in Bulgaria, a friend who I haven't seen in years. I'v been saying for years that I would come visit him and finally I got my ass on a plane to do so. But we all know I'm not the brightest seed in the bunch. I told him my flight comes in 8am, but never thought of reminding him anytime before the flight, or telling him flight number, where we were coming from or asking where we should meet up. So we landed and hoping that he would remember to pick us up. 30 minutes later we managed to get some WiFi and to our surprise we had quite a few messages from him. In the end, it all worked out and we were in the car in no time.
Time and time again we always say we want to be free and not have anything planned and just go with the flow. Well this is exactly what our week long trip to Ireland was all about. And we love it! But the one thing we have to say is stick with booking hostels through HostelBookers/HostelWorld. But there's no fun in that, you're probably thinking. But how many times have you or someone you know walked into a hostel/hotel and said something along the lines of "Great, 10 Euros, I'll take it it!".
1. Who are you? Tell us about who you are personally, away from your blog. My name’s Emma and I’m from the UK. I graduated from Uni four years ago and after a trip around Europe that summer, I was completely hooked on travelling. Everything I do has something to do with travel, and I’m constantly scheming future trips in my head. I also love anything creative, cooking and painting in particular.
My favourite thing to blog about (and photograph) is people. So my site is a travel blog, but I really like to talk about work and lifestyle too. I take a huge amount of photo's when I travel, which means there are always lots of pictures on the blog and posts about photography. But I'm interested in why people live the way they do in different places, the lifestyle choices we make, and how to have genuine experiences of local lifestyles when you travel. I have a series of posts called Monday Meetings where I talk to people who've done something inspirational, and another series called Unsung Heroes showcasing people that do amazing and skilful things just for the love of it. That's why I have 'undertones of superhero' on the site – I think everyone should push themselves to be extraordinary and reap the rewards. What is RibFest? Well it's all in the name, it's a festival of ribs. But not only ribs.
As one of the leading annual events that travels from city to city to raise money for charity, Canada’s Ribfest brings together 'Ribber Teams' from across North America, hungry to compete for the Best Ribs Title (Consisting of the People's Choice Award, Best Sauce Award, Best Judged Award and the Best Pig Rig Award). More than 150,000 people come hungry to taste the mouth-watering ribs, pulled pork and chicken! They also sell fresh corn on the cob, freshly made potato chips and fried onions! |
